You can always buy a set of bed rails for cheap. Either on craigslist or here on the fourm.

 

alright this all sounds good im going to making some phone calls tomorrow and check some out that are for sale around here. i am in an economy boosting mood and feel like spending some tax refund money haha but im cheap on what i want to buy and keeping prices to a minimum so i can buy more toys haha

 

One thing about those J hooks is that you can get then in a longer length then what I got (I only needed 3 inch ones) for less then a buck a pop. So you can still bed rail mount them like I did without removing the bed rail caps themselves, or drilling into them.

If you want some better pictures of say, the interior of the box, I can get some. I mounted it the same way in my Dodge too, and it's awesome. And a lot cheaper then the ones from Lowe's.
