Yep, that's the verdict. I'm quite upset about the whole thing I think it's fixable. Can't get a straight answer from anyone as to what the extent of the damage is, but I'm going to Angleton tommorrow to get what I can off the truck.

Anyone in the huntsville/houston area have some spare tires/wheels by any chance?

most of the time, you can take off what you put on, as long as it is replacesd

ie: if you take off the wheels... you will need to put aonther set on there.

man, sucks about that bro. :-( Take the Ranger Emblems offa her if you can, as a momento.

tell them you want to beable to take the lift off also.

i would try and take off the suspension lift, if you are able to.

it isn't something the insurance is paying you for, is it?

i would try and take off the:

fender flares
waag bar
lights
headlights
corner lenses
radio
cb
radio bezel
armrest
license plates
tailgate handle
emblems
rearview mirror
battery
alternator
maf
airbox
exhaust
brakes

dude, any/everything you can get! take it off/out!

once the insurance company prices it, and gives him a check, it is their property.

You cant start ripping stuff offa it that is stock on the truck

Think I could get the foglights off there pretty easily?

I blue booked it.

Dealer price: ~15k
Private party: 12.5k
trade-in: 9.9k

Anyone have any idea what they might give me for it?

If they give me 12.5 for it, that's 2 grand more than I paid. That'll be some nice breathing room, maybe I can have a Level II brought down from up north?

Kyle,

don't accept anything less then 12k for it. that is what it would cost you to replace it wth another stock truck.

since most insurance companies dont pay for aftermarket items, they cant stop you from taking it off

however, they might try to pay you for the items on the truck, so its either take their money or take your parts

I say **** em, and make it stock again

They gave me 14,500 for my truck, and i paid 13 brand new..

I had paid over 6 on it, so, i had a nice chunk of change to get my car.

I think they will give you more for it.
