so my truck was making this bad sgueaking noise near the front driver side tire, so i popped the hood and my battery had leaked acid. i got a new battery and the sound went away for about a week, now it has come back. i nwas wondering if it had to do with the leak, could someone maybe point me in the right direction?? thanks

 

Do you hear the noise alot worse when turning the steering wheel? I would check under the hood while the truck was running and see if maybe the fan might be hitting the shroud or something else. Also do you hear the noise while idling or just driving?

 

i juust hear it when im driving, straight or turning. i never hear it when im idling

 

In that case it might be one of your belts. I'v done this before but some people dont recommend it but try spraying some wd40 on your belts and see if the noise goes away worked like a charm for me. IM not sure about the battery and if its related to the problem but someone might have added to much water to it and it boiled over or something. Can you get a video of the truck making the noise and a view of under the hood?
