towing question

Hello Everyone, New here.... I had a 2004 Ford Range and then had to upgrade to a 2006 F-250 in 06 because I needed a big truck for work. Anyhow my commuter car got totaled a few weeks ago and I am going down to the dealership tonight to buy a 2011 sport 2dr supercab 4x2 4.0l SOHC V6.....( so freakin excited!! to have my ranger back)

My question is..... will this ranger above be able to tow two 3 seater sea do.s plus their trailer with ease? in and out of the water , up and down hills etc..... I still have my f250 but she is getting up in mileage and would like the ranger to take over for her in the summer months when we go to the lake. I did have the tow package added to my f250, should I also do the same for the ranger? I havent seen it yet just doing the negotiating via the internet at this point and now have the price where I want to be ( well where I have enough to finance) or are these new rangers have the equipment with the towing package already, I see that is says " trailer tow class III". when I called the dealership they had no idea if it could tow these or not. I would hate to get this truck and burn her up the first time to the lake. or roll into the lake dropping them in..hahahah

Thanks
Melissa

I think it should be able to tow it pretty easy.

last question... and thank you for such a quick response. what to do I look up or google to see how much weight the bed can hold "pay load"?. I haul goats around to shows and have a special cage that is made for the bed of the truck .. i can load them in. the cage is about 200lbs and the goats are anywhere from 100 to 200lbs each, and I normally haul 4 of them.

I used to tow a couple snowmobiles with mine. Probably wasnt more than 3,000 lbs with the trailer. I would imagine PWC's are lighter than a snowmobile.

2 wheel drive may be "fun" on some boat ramps (I've seen some pretty steep ones before). But power wise and handling wise, no problem.
