TPMS light on Dash

Hey guys and gals,
One of my rims does not have a TPMS so my tire pressure light has been on as long as that rim has been on which is fine (working as intended). But today on my drive to class i noticed that the light had actually gone off which surprised me, as the light should stay on as long as there is no TPMS right? Just wondering if anyone else has run into this and if there is anything I need to worry about. I did shut off the car and start it again multiple times to see if it would come back on. Not sure what else I could do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks folks

If it doesn't come back on, it's probably burned out.

Well the light will come one when the engine is first started along with all the other lights, but then disappears with them as well. Which I was not expecting at all.
