I would do it in a heart beat so I could get a real 2wd 5spd 4.0l instead of an edge that I am very limited on lowering. **** if I could trade my truck in and keep what I am paying monthly until my note is up i would do it.

not a chance! You can't even get a reg cab 4x4 anymore. I will keep my truck until it falls apart, then i will weld it back together.

 

seems like those of us who have modded our trucks and have time and money invested, are less likely to trade them in vs those of you who are running basically stock rangers.

Hate to say it, but I would trade in my truck for an even trade (4.0L, 5 speed, 4x4, 4.10 LS gears). I love the truck, but the body is all smashed/scratched up, and God only knows what I've done to the mechanics of it while wheeling. I'd find some old rims and tires from a junk yard, then throw a new body lift and the tires onto the new truck and call it a day.
