Hi guys, how much does the pan / bed of a ranger weigh ? I’m trying to take mine off tomorrow by myself, just wanting to know roughly how much the bed weighs. Thanks

 

I used four people to remove the Style Side Bed from my Short Bed EDGE, more of they were here than they were needed.

I think three would do it too, two could but I didn't want to drop the bed or damage it !

I replaced the Bed with a Steppie Bed, didn't need four people because the fender sides come off and you only have the inner shell, then add the fenders. Two people can handle the Steppie easily.

Ltr, more people, lighter the load !

 

About the same as a canopy that fits on it, so about 150-175lbs

Not that heavy just very awkward

 

Well took my first bed off, heavier then I thought haha. I’m pleased too see my chassis is solid. Let the projects begin!

 

Hello can you guys tell me what the name of the nut style clips are that the bed bolts into ? I snapped two bolts off so will need to replace those nut clip things.
