I've improved my night driving in a 2008 Ranger with better headlight bulbs. I've also added the lights in the bumper using LED's. These helped, but they give nothing in the way of light compared to our Prius V. After 2008, has Ford redesigned the headlight housings to get better lighting results?

 

No. They never changed lights from 2008 till the end. Ranger was suppose to end 2009, but was extended to 2011. All was the same.

 

Go with a projector retrofit. You can either do it yourself, or there are places (including members here) that will do it for you.
