bye bye edge!!

i might have to get ride of my truck due to the simple fact that my future wife's car is a pile of dung. it's a 1996 ford taraus and it dies randomly and it also doesn't like cranking. my truck is nice and dependable but its not the best vehicle for a family vehicle. once we get on our feet real good we get me a ranger that i want. like Fx4 Level II (freakin sweet). even if i do get rid of it i will remain a fan and member of RF. any inputs on selling price of my truck and dependable family cars for less than 10 g's.

info on truck: 2003 Ford Ranger Edge
single cab, 2x4
3.0L V6, 5-speed manual
6-disc CD changer
euro clear tail lights
stock everywhere else
51,000 miles

any input will help out a lot. thanks

Well, besides the euros, manual tranny, and 6 disc changer, your truck is the same as mine. I saw one in the paper for $9xxx, but I bought mine for $11500 and it only had 25kmi on it back in may. As usual, if you sell it yourself, you'll get more for it.

High miles are a killer, nice truck though. I agree with the "family first" sentiments. You'll get another shot at a ranger, and in the mean time you've got your wife in a safe D.D. and that's the most important thing. Good luck in selling, your local market is far more important than what KBB or NADA says.

Bedrug, for the carpet. I'd got with an Access for the tonneau that is if you want a soft one.

I was extremely happy with my Snug Lid SL, and as for the liner i would strongly recomend the Bed Rug.
