Vibrations after truck is warmed up.
Vibrations after truck is warmed up.
I finally got my truck on the road. I took it out to get some fresh gas. On my trip to the gas station about a mile away my house it drove pretty smooth. After driving it around town a little the truck started vibrating pretty bad almost hopping at any speed. I know the truck needs a rear pinion seal which is going in the next day or too waiting on the new cover to come in. Only drove a total of 4 miles. Could it be the rear differential ?
I am also having a hopping issue and my engine sounds like its going wouhhh wou wouhhh wou wouhhh it stays at around 500rpm and battery flickers ive changed almost everything in the car and the only solution is unplugging the MAF its annoying, ive tried two brand new MAF also and changed a **** ton of parts i cant figure it out or get a answer
I just replaced my front and rear shocks. Took it for a test ride the vibration was a bit better. I just found drum on the passenger side is binding hoping i can adjust it and be good to go. I’ll probably have to do the rear brakes.
The play wasn’t didn’t seem to be play in the u joints I was just able to rotate it about a inch in either direction. I found that one of the drums is definitely warped. Seem as though the previous owner drove with them locked up for some time. I had back the adjusters completely off to free the drum up and still can get it off.
