Vibrations after truck is warmed up.

I finally got my truck on the road. I took it out to get some fresh gas. On my trip to the gas station about a mile away my house it drove pretty smooth. After driving it around town a little the truck started vibrating pretty bad almost hopping at any speed. I know the truck needs a rear pinion seal which is going in the next day or too waiting on the new cover to come in. Only drove a total of 4 miles. Could it be the rear differential ?

Talked to previous owner said he just had all of the brakes done but they had to adjust the rear drums several times. He thinks that might be the issue.

I just replaced my front and rear shocks. Took it for a test ride the vibration was a bit better. I just found drum on the passenger side is binding hoping i can adjust it and be good to go. I’ll probably have to do the rear brakes.

You shouldn't have play in the drive shaft. I fixed a vibration by replacing U joints in a driveshaft once. You should consider doing that.

The play wasn’t didn’t seem to be play in the u joints I was just able to rotate it about a inch in either direction. I found that one of the drums is definitely warped. Seem as though the previous owner drove with them locked up for some time. I had back the adjusters completely off to free the drum up and still can get it off.
