So when I fill my gas tank when I pull away there is a puddle by the pump. This only happens when I fill the tank not if I get 1/4 or less. It appears to be leaking from the top where you insert gas nozzle somewhere. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Yes, filler hose is cracked, not an uncommon issue.

$40 to $100 for the part but hard to get old one off gas tank and new one on.
While they are not engine size related they are model related, i.e. extended cab, step-side, long bed
