My thing is he has done it many of times before same ammont of space and he has gotten out just fine but then he said he heard something and thought we just hit bumpers but didnt even bother to check also he has been sick the past few day and on antibiotics so idk maybe his depth perception was off... He did say he was sorry though.

so what it looks like to me is he wont own up, but also you dont want to say anything because you are living under his roof... here is a compromise!! you said you are paying rent, so talk to him and say you will deduct the amount if cost for you to fix it out of your rental payment and it will be even.. he will be happy because he doesnt take a direct hit, and you will get a new grill and wont see any extra amount of money leaving your wallet!! how does that sound??
