Definitely file against his insurance if you two can't work it out. He should pay for all of it. At least half, for goodness sakes...

he's already screwing the guy's daughter... i know enough people who would be looking down the barrel of a shotgun, if someone was doing that do THEIR daughter

better to try to work it out without calling someone out...

go to a body shop, see if you can get them to mix you up some paint the same colour as your truck, and spray it yourself... or see if they can put it in a rattle can... if the chrome ones are cheaper, you should be able to just sand and spray...

So a guy backs into you, breaks your grille and only pays half of it? I thought my mom was the only person that could get into an accident that wasn't her fault yet get totally screwed.

Good job.

LOL

Seems like everyone in the US takes everyone to court and sues everyone else for everything. How backed up are the courts down there? Seriously.

have you any idea how backed up our court systems are?

the only trials you hear about on tv are the big high profile one, like robert pickton, and he gets into court as soon as RCMP has their case ready... in calgary, the quickest you can get into traffic court is 6 months, if you are lucky, there are people who wait in jail, for 3-4 months without even a date for the prelim for a criminal case... and that's just so the guy can enter his plea and set a date for trial!

i realize that they wouldn't televise traffic court, i'm just saying that our court system is no golden child... our criminal court is 10x worse than our traffic court

Well, I'd hope common sense would prevent him from parking in the same spot again.
