Sell your truck, use that money to put a down payment on a new one.

you just have to look at where you spend your money, with my vechicles paid off, i spent my extra cash working on them

I'm living at home and paying for college. I still work 40 hours a week, so thats how i pay for mine. The parents bought me my first vehicle (93 Ranger), and I drove that for 3 years. Then when I graduated I saw the money I was making and bought something newer. I still have yet to sell my old, which I will put it all towards the loan.

Living at home and only having to pay for Ins. and the Truck payment helps ALOT.

Well 1st off.........Im going to say im a good kid i get good grades, and i HAVE NEVER had a negative attitude towards my parents...I alaways stayed home friday or saturday night and helped them with things that needed to get done around the house (ext- yard work, ect) instead of going out with friends. And it is kind of a family tradition for the parents/grandparents to buy the 1st vehicle for their kids in my family. So when i turned 16, for my birthday AND senior graduation gift they bought me my 01......So come june when i graduate, my truck is my gift, i get nothing from them (besides an open house), and thats what we agreed upon when i got it.

Now every modification done to my truck I personally have paid for with the money i have earned from working on my own.....

My Truck and Hockey are my 2 priorities that i spend most of my $$ on......

Precisely. I saved since 3rd grade for my vehicle when i turned 16 and worked from the day I turned 16 til about 10 hours before i left for college and paid for everything on my truck. Truck itself, lift, tires, all the other mods, gas, and insurance. I just learned to stretch every dollar I've ever had. And it's served me well so far

Well i had my priorities straight always put most of my money aside. So when i turned 18 i could get the truck i always dreemed of since i was a kid. An older body style f-150. I turned 16 and bought a 88 f-150 right away only 96k on it babied by the original owner who was a 80 year old guy that i bought it from. No rust a few paint chips/dents around the bed brand new cover. And best if all a 5.0. got a body lift and 35s had it for a little over a year and was really starting to get what i wanted it to be then i hit black ice on the last snowfall of last year and totaled it. took out a 3ft x 5ft concrete thing at the end of some guys driveway on my way to school. And i ended up 4k in dept to buy the ranger.
Morall of me rambling on... I got screwed.

I am a lil spoiled too. I am a good kid and delt with a piece of crap truck to start out with and when I moved to Erie for school my dad hooked me up with a newer used truck. But like Mark I am always there when my dad needs something. Everything that get done to it is on me tho. Shane your truck looks really good tho. It doesn't have to be newer to be better.
