Hey Everyone
This is my first post. I have a 2001 regular cab manual ranger with a 60/40 bench seat. The vinyl on the drivers seat has a tear in it and I want to replace the current no arm rest bench seat with an arm rest bench seat. My question is, what other years seats will bolt in without modification to my truck? I see a lot of newer split bench seats with arm rests on ebay, but I am unsure if they will fit. Any advice here would be awesome. Thanks.

 

Explorer seats will fit. Not exactly what years since it's a single cab but just search explorer seats for single cab ranger. All kinds of threads will come up

 

What I meant to ask was, what other years of ranger seats will fit directly into my 2001 ranger?

 

93-11 Will fit The seat tracks are the same for rangers.

 

Make sure you get your new seat from another regular cab as the tracks are different for extended cabs.

 

Along the same topic, I have a 2000 Ranger XLT extended cab with 60/40 seats. Drivers seat lever is broken off & seat is in a very upright position. I've seen that Explorer '96-'01 & Tempo/Topaz seats will fit too. If I find any of these seats, will they be a direct swap (ie. just remove & replace)? How much work is involved if I replace with Explorer bucket seats and put in the Explorer center console, how much is involved with doing that? I've never done anything like this before (even though I'm a mechanically inclined Mom) and I have my 17 year old mechanically inclined son helping me with it. I did buy the recommended socket to use to take the seats out. I want to try to do this this coming weekend (daughter is coming home from college this weekend with the truck). Thanks for any info!!!!
