what size Jack and floor jacks I need for Ranager 99 XLT V6 3.0

Can anyone tell me what size of Jack and Jack stands I should buy for my pickup above.

6 ton bottle to replace the factory pos,
2 ton floor jack - most common and usually cheapest ...
the Jacks I use are 6 ton, they are overkill , but they are the perfect height that I don't have to extend them at all...

i have a two ton floor jack and craftsman 2 ton adjustable stands..... do NOT put floor jack under diff to raise rear end.....that fowls the gasket and gear oil leaks

I use a 3 ton jack and 6 ton jack stands, works well for Rangers and my current truck.

Any jack stands will work... i use cheap harbor freight ones.
