what size tires

what size tires

first of all can any one tell my how to get a signature on this forum.alright my question is i have a 03 fx4 extended cab 4.0 motor and i bought it used it has a new set of what i believe to be american racing rims .thay look like the old style cragers any way there 17 inch rims with a new set of bfg.rugged trail ta 245-65-r17 thay look a little small what is the max size i can used with no mod of the tcranks or cutting any fender flares

After you log into the forum, look at the upper left corner and you will see where it says User CP . Click it and then look down the left side of the screen and you should see the word signature. Click it and then start typing.

For the tire size, there are mixed feelings around here. Some people say that 32's won't fit and some say they will. If you want to be safe. Just go with 31x9.5R15 I'm not sure what that will come up as for a 17" rim

On the top of your screen there is a button that says User CP. Click that then click edit signature.

for the tire question...i dont no....probably 32x11.5x17 but im not the tire expert on this site.

as far as tire size i know that you can go to 33x10.5x17 (if anyone even makes that size)

im almost positive that its 32/10.5 that will fit without any rubbing or tbar cranks

yea a 275/75/r(15/16/17) is 31.8" by 10.5" wide but you should be able to fit a 285 or so w/o worry
