Dry weight I think it tips the scale at 9,000lbs not including the 100 gallons in the fuel tank or the trailer.

Ya I just pulled it off the lawn after being buried for 7 years. I didnt leave my property with it. At 2mph, that boat pushed the ranger all over the place. The truck barely had the ***** to move it. though once moving it was ok, stopping though, what a nightmare! A couple times that summer it pushed me out into the street

I flat tow my Jeep ( it's currently in the 4k range but been close to 5k ) and a 17' center console that's about 4800 lbs, and I tow my Kayak on a 5 x 10 trailer due to the bed of the truck has the cooler and chairs and the first up so I mounted my old truck box on my trailer with the Kayak... I need a decent roof rack for an ARE cap if anyone knows of a good one...

I've looked into a few trailers and am only looking at 3-4000 max so I'm still under my GVWL and can carry some supplies too.

I have a 7x14 open utility trailer as well, though that trailer is a smidge large for the ranger. If I had an F150 it would be a perfect size.

I discovered yesterday that while i can fit 4 face cords of wood in the truck and trailer, its too much weight for the trailer to haul. So, as a note to others, that max amount of cords would be 3 face cords of wood.

if its 12" pieces of wood. I've got a giant woodburner that fits 24", and two face cords is equal to one cord. and i've only ever been able to get almost 1&1/2 cords in the truck.
(for reference, a standard cord is 4 feet wide, about 6feet tall, 8 -10 feet long)

Wood and the JD 750 all the time. Does pretty well just have to leave a little extra stopping room.
