Hi purchasing rims this week. Can you pros please let me know if I can purchase and get away with 15x8 with a -27mm offset?

*1994 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4, V6, 4.0 OHV Super Cab.
* Stock Suspension
* Stock setup is 235/75R15 (15X7)
* Stock Hub Bore = 70.6
* Stock Offset = +12

*Current Tire Size = 28.9 x 28.9 x 9.3 inches (General Grabber AT2)

My Question is can I buy the 15X8 -27mm? If so, how far will the tires stick out over stock and what are my chances of anything rubbing?

Or

Should I just stick with 15X7 with -6mm?

15X7 with -6mm is a 3.75" backspacing and 15x8 with -27mm is about 3.5" backspacing. Since you don't have a big tire size you will be fine with that setup.

If you do plan on putting on 31s or more in the future you should stick with a 3.75" backspacing.
