Where's all the Mazda owners?

yay pic whoring!
I've never heard of or seen a Troy Lee B-series. That must be a US special edition or something.
That RX7 is definetly bad ***. I used to have an '88 RX7 non-turbo and an '87 TurboII. They were both hunks of crap and think combined, I only ad them for like 4 months. My auto shop teacher also set my engine bay on fire when the motor was flooded one day. He pulled the spark plug ut but let the wire dangle down infront of the hole and when he cranked the engine over, the spark from the wire ignited the gas causing a huge fireball to erupt out of my engine bay and set pretty much everything on the driver's side of the engine bay on fire. Luckily we got it extinguished before any major damage was done, but after that, I never let anyone at school work on my vehicles except myself.

Actually, after working at a rotary shop for my co-op I learned this trick. When I used to park my RX7 in the parking lot at school with the nose pointing down hill, it would almost always flood and need to be bump started (which is how my car got the nickname "The Bobsled") or have a plug pulled and engine cranked.
What you are really supposed to do in this scenario with the engine being flooded is pull the fuse for the fuel pump, remove a spark plug, and crank the engine for a few rotations. Put everything back, turn the key and you should be good to go.
That car was a royal PITA.

oh man, I like that alot. I'm actually surprised how well the front end almost fits as good as it does without swapping the fenders.
I've been toying with the idea of putting an 02 Ranger front end on mine.
w00t mazdas. 99mazda...yours is just...sick. I'm pissed I can't afford that freakin brush bar yet.

Ex Mazda owner here...
My first car, was an 87 FC3S RX7.
My second car, was a 93 FD3S RX7 (purrty yellow)
She had 378rwhp before I had an injector act up, and then this..
So I rebuilt it like this...
=)
After I sold that I bought another Mazda...
My 3rd car, and most disappointing car I shouldn't have bought, was a 2004 SE3P RX8
But I was so dissapointed with the high compression/natural aspiration I sold it and bought the piston driven monster that owns my wallet now.
Not the Mazda's you expected eh?

I was going to do that but then you need a new hood. Then you have to paint the hood and grill surround which is more money than I was willing to pay. There is no paint on the front of the 98-00 and you don't need to buy a new hood.
