I am trying to test the fuel pump in this Mazda 2300 2.3L.The schrader valve is what I need to find.I've been told that it is on the fuel rail by the first fuel injector;has anybody out there has a truck similar like a Ranger 2002 2.3L and has done this kind of testing. It seems I have to remove some parts before reaching this schrader valve!!Any pointer will be appreciated.

One way or another it's going to be located on the fuel rail - I believe they are almost always located right at the point where the rail first gets it's initial fuel feed from.

I ran a 2002 B2300 on AutoZone's website and came up with the following statement & picture:

"All Sequential Fuel Injection (SFI) fuel injected engines are equipped with a pressure relief valve located on the fuel supply manifold:"
