I'm sure it's been done somewhere else, but my grill was custom made...or just custom colored .... whatever.

You know what I'v allways wondered.. why do Rangers have 4 cupholders for two people in the front? I guess a couple of them are cell phone/ipod/coin/crap holders...bah..

Got to thinking of it, I actually do have a mod I can/will show that nobody else does.. well one other, but he doesnt post much... I have a Round F150 Billet Gas Door

04lvl2,

Did ALMOST that exact same mod about a month ago when I installed a 2 meter HAM radio (Yaesu FT 1500M) in my 00 Ranger. The radio and microphone are cradled nicely inside and the arm rest and the antenna cable/12V wiring come out the back of the arm rest....There is 3/8" clearance between the radio and the console storage access cover....

OR 4x4

I have an FT-1500M as well. I wouldn't run it inside there with the cover closed at 50 watts! These things get HOT! It'll reduce it's power automatically when it does to protect itself. You just won't get full power on an extended talk if you don't pop that cover up though, lol.

And Chris (MartianGod -- are you a Bradbury fan, lol), I REALLY like the interior of your cap and bed. That looks great. Kind of like an inside-out speaker enclosure!

I was the first to convert a factory CD6 to illuminate blue instead of green. N3ELZ is the only other person I know of who has done it as well, and he got the parts from me. :) I think I was the first to change the on/off LED in a foglight switch to a color other than stock yellow/green, as well.

There are at least three "Harley Rangers" in my service area. The coolest one (IMHO) is the one with a late 70s/early 80s F150 stepside box all painted to match in black with orange pinstriping. Def. different.
