come on man, do you really have to pollute every thread that has the word "toyota" in it? you dont see us over on your toyota forums pissing in your pond. cut the crap dude, we get it, you love your new truck, i am happy for you and glad you are enjoying your investment but your constant negativity towards our investments is getting old. youre on a ford ranger fan site you should expect some jabs at the competition and if you dont like anything negative said about toyota than dont read it. most of us are here because we enjoy our rangers and we want to associate with others that share our interest in it too. give it a rest.

 

Yeah yeah I know. I shouldn't be surprise me how ridiculous some people can be with their posts. I just thought people would be a bit more mature and understanding of things but there are too many children on the site.

 

I always wanted a small truck and was looking at Tacomas and Rangers. My ranger popped up in an ad and i couldn't pass up the deal, 8600 out the door.

 

My 87 Dodge Shadow was on it's last legs and becoming to unreliable. I had graduated college and was just starting a new job in my field. I seen the Ranger at the local Ford dealership and I liked the look of it. I first seen it on a Monday, took it for a test drive on Tuesday, signed the papers on Wednesday, had it home plated and insured on Thursday.

Mind you, if I knew then what I know now, I would have not bought it. I would have looked around for a 4.0L. The 3.0 is a dog. 2wd isn't that bad either, I'm not in places where a 2wd can't get around.

 

My parents made me lol It was either a 03 F150 FX4 or the 04 ranger next to it.... ranger was more but payments and insurance was lower. So i got the ranger.... Glad i did but still want a V8 lol
