from what I was told by some locals. Alabama's tint laws have changed and you can't make the rear windows darker. ghey. but as long as I have paperwork dated and all that I bought mine before 09 I'm legit.

I got tint way back in 2007 after driving the truck for 2-3 weeks.

strip is no longer there*** front windows 35% rear 15% from what I was told*

20% front and 5% on front and back , looking to go darker on front but i don't want to get a ticket and another 5% on the back window , so i think it would be -5%

NC law says on ex X-Cab truck, 35% up front is the legal limit, and the back windows can be as dark as you want them. However, on a reg. cab, you can only go 35% all the way around legally.

5% on sides and back
35% on entire windshield. Will never own another vehicle without windshield tint. You would never know its on inside the truck unless i pointed it out.
ga law is 32% on sides. I had to strip the sides last week to get out of a ticket, but I re tinted the next day. Turned out really good for my first time

5% all the way around, including a sun strip. personally, its always sunny down here and I need the sun strip and sunglasses. also, I prefer the tint to be as dark as possible cuz I don't want anyone to see me...I want them to see the truck!

P.S. 5% tint is the perfect amount for road head, no one driving near you can see whats going on inside

No, its 35% on the front 2 windows. You can tint the back window pitch black on any truck if you want, it doesn't matter if its a single cab or not.

Boo tint laws. if police, taxis, and towtrucks can run 5% all around so can i. when i get around to tint ill do 5% on the fronts and 5% over stock on the rear. i know if i went any lighter i would regret it.

here in texas if you get a doctors note and submit it, you can have as dark of tint as you want. something to look into. "I get migraines"

i havent tried it, but from looking at the laws (TX), if you roll your windows down and pop the fuse out before you go get it inspected you are fine. they can fail you for having too dark of tint, but they cant fail you for not having working windows

This applies to trucks AND SUV's in NC. The front doors and windshield can only be 35% but as you said, anything behind that can be pitch black if you want.

I have 35% over the rears and 20% and the 2 fronts. I have driven all over Illinois and the surrounding states and have only been pulled over once by a cop that probably had nothing better to do. All he gave me was a $50 ticket. I paid it and left my tint on. I have had it on for 3 years now and that was the only time I have been pulled over.

My ranger has no tint yet. The escape has stock all around and 27 % on the fronts. 27% is legal here. I have no probs.

That statement is semi true. You're right about the back window but the 35% rule only applies to the front windows. If you're in a car you can have your back door windows tinted as dark as you want. My girl friend has 35% on her front windows, and 5% in the rear.
