I am new to modifying trucks. But seeing all this window tint on all your rangers has really got me wanting to do the same... but before jumping into it, I'm just curious of some things.

How much did it cost for you guys to get your window tinting done?
How enforcing is the law there for you (if any) about it? Has anyone got a ticket? What did it cost? I do realize all states/countries are different in this aspect, just curious of your own doings. I am in Canada, SK.

Do you have any problems with the window tinting? With the law, or not ... or quality wise. How long does it last?

Is there a way you can actually get the glass itself tinted instead of getting a material over top of the glass?

Cost varies by shop

Law enforcement varies by country, state, county, and even individual officers

Quality tint will last decades

You can buy tinted glass, but that's expensive and pointless

I've gotten ticket for my tint. I fixed it to be legal, now that I graduated and am working full time. I'm going back to dark, I don't if I get a ticket or not. I'll pay it

I was only curious as to what you guys have paid for the window tint. I could easily find out the cost here was just wondering what everyone else paid. Same goes with the law and how they deal with it at your area.

Why is it pointless to buy tinted glass? Something I am missing?

Thank you for your reply!

Tinted glass is a lot more expensive than buying window tint, no big advantage to buying pretinted glass

Mine was 20% and matched the rear windows well. No issues getting pulled over.

I'm afraid to get it done. I don't see it a lot here and the law here says absolutely no tint allowed in the drivers windows and windshield. That and I'd never hear the end of it from my dad. Lucky you guys can do this, but it's not worth the fine and ticket and hassle to do it. All your trucks look amazing!
