Wiper Transmission/Linkage

Wiper Transmission/Linkage
I just got a Dorman Wiper transmission/linkage for my right side. It does say that I need to replace the wiper arm. The old one won’t fit. The thing is, it does not give me a part number to try and purchase the new arm. Went to 3 auto stores and no one can figure out which one fits with our the new part number. Year and make does not matter since it’s a new part. Anyone run into this? Thnx. PS it’s a 2003.

Whats the part number for the Dorman linkage?
That should tell you what year Rangers it was made for
Its odd that that info, i.e. "It does say that I need to replace the wiper arm. The old one won’t fit" was not told to you upfront, before getting this part
I would send it back and get correct 2003 linkage from wrecking yard

It showed me(32773 zip code) Stanford auto wrecking has a 2001-2002 Ranger with wiper parts, also others in that area have 2003 Rangers
