Yea, We usually like to keep our rangers 4 wheels on the ground.

actually, yes, she still runs

mthomp1 03-25-2012 07:43 AM

I would've run him over instead of swerved to miss him. That being said, hindsight is 20/20. How bad was the body damage?

White Lighting 03-25-2012 08:23 AM

I rolled my old ranger too, i put it all the way on the roof though. it was the 1st snow/ice of the year and i was too lazy to put my sandbags in the back. it still ran when i sold it.

shoot, you had a grille guard, id of tried it out. most of the time its much better to hit a deer than to try and swerve from one. back 20 years ago i was in a jeep and had a deer come across, i just downshifted to 3rd and held the gas to the floor. bent the bumper & fender, but the deer was took in the next day for processing!

annguyen1981 03-25-2012 05:51 PM

Yeah... I'm gonna keep my trap shut on this one. Those that know me know what I wanna say.

i have a relitivly larger dent in my front fender, will come out easy, my Long bed took a beating, had to put a new tail light on it, and bend the molding back into place, and in my cab corner..... i dont know how im going to get that out, i couldnt open my door untill i did some body work, door is now ajar, but it works out because it has enough room for my CB cable with out getting pinched, and she will need to be re-[ainted, but she was a 5 tone red when i got her

morris 03-25-2012 08:54 PM

Probably used instagram or something. I was gonna nominate Pedro but then remembered the airplane pic

annguyen1981 03-25-2012 08:58 PM

Yeah... Pedro's crash was pretty bad. Too bad too... THAT was a nice truck.

was debating whether to post this or not as the gentleman in the car didn't survive the accident. I was lucky enough to walk away with just a few cuts, some bruised ribs .

I am confident enough that nobody will make any inappropriate comments , so I have decided to share these pictures.

The story made the paper and the news. The driver that hit me was on his way to pick up his little girl after school, blew through the light , I tried to swerve out of the way, but ..well you can see what happened.

I thank god every day that I was driving a truck built as strong as a ranger. I doubt I would have walked away in another vehicle.

the accident happened in Laval Quebec Canada.23rd November 2011

the worst i can think of was a girl from RPS that got hit by a drunk driver. she was fine, don't remember about the other driver.

and found this one while looking for the pic of her truck:

This isn't a Ranger crash, but it's a video taken from the dashcam of a police car of a very horrendous crash. It's amazing how fast things can go wrong.....
