You're fixing it up anyway, might as well upgrade, have it all done more to your satisfaction - makes for a better truck; happier driver.
And good thing you posted, Kyle - the guys on here have great ideas, and the experience to give you all kinds of advice on just about anything you can imagine - not to mention a few things you probably CAN'T imagine. LOL.

With out a doubt! especially if it's being payed for by insurance! I don't mind paying a little out of my pocket for a better selection of parts though, no biggy.
I SHOULD get it back in 1-2 weeks, Hell they've had it since the 9th of january now, its now the 19th, I'm going to go see if its still in the lot tomorrow. I'm not really going to push it though, I want them to do a good job, plus they need to get the parts. Yep always a good reason to upgrade if it's being repaired. Can't wait to see how it looks with the power dome hood and new grille as well.
They do have good idea's that is why i love this site . And thanks to mike for giving me the idea to get the new grill and hood, and everybody else who contributed to this thread.

Stop making me want more things for it!
I was already thinking of doing that, I should of told them not to replace the headlight, I was going to pick up a set of already blacked out one's off ebay for 65 bucks. I'll probably end up doing it sooner or later though.. I want 06 tails and 06 mirrors too, I'm going to end up spending all of my money on this truck but those 2 things will have to wait...

Don't forget to post before and after pics.
And too bad your pics of the dead deer didn't turn out; then, you could have posted pics of:
Dead dear + Old pics of damaged truck = "After" pics with new mods; LOL
Keep us in the loop.
We'll look forward to seeing the new, improved version of your truck.

LOL, I think I'm going to start carrying my camera around in my truck, for situations just like this. The deer was still fully intact, all you could see was blood coming out of it's head
and onto the pavement, it was still in one piece.
Will do, I will get before and after shots of it.
I need to clean it first though when I get it back . Should be sometime soon! Looking forward to it.

Well I would spend most of my money on it, but I'm trying to save up for a dirt bike in the spring, plus I need to put at least a little bit of my money towards books for school. You know how it is.. lol I'll wait till after I have my bike and till summer, when I can work a lot more and have a decent amount of money coming in, only working like once a week right now because my work is retarded.

Quick Update: The parts are on order now. Guy said it should be fixed by the end of next week. Let's hope
Went and checked it out today, it was moved and had 0 snow on it which was weird since we got dumped on over the weekend, and I don't see how they would fit all those vehicles in that garage at night, whatever. I just can't wait to drive it again.

I also checked it over again today real good and noticed my door on the edges are kind of rounded off a little so thats a little damaged to so I wonder how they are going to go about fixing that, or just replace the whole door.

Update: The hood is going to be a $240 dollar difference and the grille is going to be a $75 difference. I say $315 isn't too bad and its worth it in. Anybody else think this is worth it? I told the guy to order me those parts so they'll be in in a few days and I should get the truck back next week sometime.

Worth it? Kyle, you have GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!
a) You don't have to search all over for the parts - body shop does it for you.
b) You don't have to put the parts in - body shop does it for you.
c) You don't have to align the new parts to the body - body shop does it for you
d) You don't have to paint the new parts to match (good luck on this if you do it yourself! - have it done professionally and it will cost you) - body shop does it for you.
e) You don't have to worry that you may not have the right bolts/screws/clips/fasteners that you'll need (and I'll tell you, if you did it yourself, there will ALWAYS be a missing "something" you don't have) - body shop does it for you
f) You don't have to worry that maybe the parts you get/found will/will not fit - body shop does it for you.
g) etc.
h) etc.
i) etc.
And all this for HOW MUCH?
But seriously Kyle, don't second guess it. The guys have all given you great advice - they're not steering you wrong.
Anyway, you'll see for yourself in a little while . . .
I bet you'll have a big **** eating grin when you see your truck.

Well the truck was all ready to be picked up this morning, the guy washed it of course. then went out to go get in it this morning to test drive it and he broke the mother f-ing door handle off. what a dumb *** now I have to wait till tuesday to pick it up. I'm going to go look at it now and see how the paint turned out. this just pisses me off.. whatever that doorhandle was almost broken anyways thing always flapped around. I guess I'll snap a few pics of it if its in the lot.
