WTB : Powder Coating!!!

as you may know i have been making custom steel bumpers, my rear is complete and my front is getting close..

however, i havnt been able to find a local shop or anyone who powdercoats stuff! i really need to find a reasonable priced place or person cause money is really tite!!

so if any of you know places around the seattle area, or know people who do powdercoating and would do a job for me, please contact me...

also, i just got a sandblaster and will have the bumpers down to bare metal.. so all i need is a powder coat...

ONE QUESTION: After i sandblast and clean them up, should i put down a primer to keep the rust off before they get powdercoated,

or

should i just clean them and then leave them alone. i dont want my primer to interfere at all with the coating...

thanks
any advice or help needed!!

i am willing to drive a little out so western washington open for me!

as a matter of fact, i am about to start doing my own powder coating. you could try putting a anti rust film on it (spray can) that can be washed off when they are prepping your parts.

clean it with acetone then wrap it in trashbags till you get it powdercoated..they have to be completly cleaned for the negative ions to attract to the positivley charged bumpers

There is a sweet place in Vancouver (Washington, just north of Portland). Shane will chime in on the name. But they do a super good job at a super good price. I am surprised there isn't anybody in Seattle that does powder coating....i bet you aren't looking hard enough.

If my ovens were bigger I'd say send it to me but I cant do it. Here's a few that I just found around there. I'm not suggesting any of them, but you have some options. There's more, but I'll let you search for them.

And dont spray any primers on there. It needs to be absolutely clean bare metal. Even if a customer brings me stuff pre-blasted I at least bead blast everything for any surface rust. They'll do some prep work either way but they may give you a discount for having it mostly clean already.
