but from silverfox's thread, i have the bulbs on the left. the base is all metal. feels real nice and sturdy.

 

now something thats stranged. as far as i knew my kit was backordered. so i emailed them about two days ago about it and this is the email i recieved..

then whadda ya know my kit comes in today. i just thought it was strange it came in today when they said they'll be shipping them out at the end of this week. lol

 

the bulbs on the left are really nice and sturdy the wire going up the side into the bulb is much thicker then the cheapys they fit really snug into the headlight housing i broke my bulb lock rings because i didnt notice a rubber chingas that i hade to remove but i didnt trip on it because they were so tight ones on the left are supper cheap pastic junk with a tiny wire going into the bulb they fit sooo losse in the headlight housing that they would probley leak even with the lock rings

both kits are supposed to come with the same bulbs and wiring 35w/55w raptor or slimballast

 

yeah the ones on the left fit so snug it actually chipped away a small piece of the chrome coating around the opening for the bulb.

oh and my fvck up for the day. was doing a test fit and managed to get one of the styrofoam covers stuck in the housing hahahaha

 

how did you get it out? lol

 

needle nose plyers and a bit of patience haha

 

maybe you will get a second set on here that you can ship to someone, say in calgary ab canada, for a reduced price off of what they charge? you make money, and someone similar to me might save...

you get the 55w hi/lo slim kit?

 

maybe youll get two kits lol then you can ship one to me lol

and no not the slim kit. just the regular no need for the slims.


and i do have a second set coming. but its a set of 8000k 9006's i bought for a friend as a gift lol

Tyler... can you do a simple How-To for the Hi/Lo kit? All there is in that section is a single filament I think.

 

yeah i'll do that when my hi-low controller comes in. ill snap some pics and whatnot as well and post it all up

im hoping my hi lo controller comes in tomorrow. ive been putting off putting the halogens back in, in hopes of it coming in soon. everything is all wired up. but if it isnt here by tomorrow ill be forced to put the halogens in because i will need headlights this weekend.

they are bright as hell though lol.

and like others ,the polarity is backwards. so high beams are on when the truck says lows, and vice versa. do i just switch it up in the 9007 connector?
