i have a 92 ranger inside the intake tube there is a cone shape wtf is that for? it looks rather restricting

 

2.3 L? its a baffle and can be removed. its to make the engine quieter.

Just pull it out for some more noise.

 

its what i said. you can remove it and put in a piece of exhaust pipe. its a mod you can do to the 2.3L

 

im thinking it will increase the flow or am i wrong? like i said it looks rather restricting

dryer hose? lol that sounds kinda shady

 

so i took the thing out of the intake tube which is a pain in the *** to get out by the way and the damn thing looks like a butt plug wtf hide away but plug in the intake tube lol much better thottle responce and i dont hear any change in the noise level

 

you will hear a diffrence if u really get on it

 

i get on it hard and theres a small difference not much though but its amazing the throttle responce difference
