So I got home from a trip to the junkyard yesterday, when I got home I did some things then I had to go to my neighbors to get something, so I jumped in my ranger and when I hit the gas pedal it landed in the floor. MY GAS PEDAL FELL OFF!!!! I just thank GOD it didn’t fall of going down the interstate at 70 mph.

Thanks, I looked and the bolts that go through the firewall are gone. I looked under the carpet and there not there, I dont know where they went.

 

wow. thats crazy. never thought of something like that happening. what are you going to do it fix it?

 

You could always devise some sort of bicycle pedal and chain drive system.

 

I guess I'll go to a junkyard and get a couple bolts off a junker.
