XLT vs Edge vs STX

Besides what is listed on Fords website what are the Major differences in these 3 models, the reason for my asking is since Ford is doing the same thing Chevy is I may be looking to trade up. Can I get a 4x2 with the 4.0 or do I have to get a 4x4, nothing against the 4x4 except I don't have the use for one. Thanks. Also trying to stay under 20grand

The Edge is still offered, they just changed the name to "Sport." So you'll see just as many, except they'll say "Sport" on them now.

F-Series....

you know about www.forddirect.com? It'll help you pick out options, at least to see what combo's are possible. You can also use that site to search dealership lots for matching vehicles.

STX do look good that is why they have been discounting them like madness cause they have too many and hardly anyone is buying them.

And the fact they are changing the name from Edge to Sport is extremly stupid as hell IMO.

$20,000 for a new ranger? THat is ridiculous. my buddy got an '04 Ford f150 xlt 4X4 for 18,500 last november brand new. It has power and everything. I say wait a couple months until the dealerships are trying to make room for '06's before paying 20 grand for a ranger. I'm paying 11 for mine and think it is too much. There's about 20 different vehicles i'd spend 20 grand on. But if you like the truck and dont mind the price tag go for it.

im going to repeat myself get a f150 for 20,000 instead of a ranger, bigger engine bigger period.. your wasting your money on a little ranger when you could have a big sweet truck for the same ammount of money...

unless he wants a ranger, or wants something smaller then an f150, or something with better gas mileage then an f150, there is many different reasons to get a minitruck over a fullsize, just cause of a pricetag doesnt mean you should get a fullsize
