Truck has 54k miles in really good condition. Paint is in great shape but the seller did not clean the interior so that's my first to do item. The A/C was not blowing cold enough at 70 degrees. So here is my first question. Can you please tell me the proper high and low side side a/c pressures. I'll hook my manifold gauges up tomorrow and if necessary add some charge i.e. 134a.

 

should be a sticker under the hood with that info.

Paid 12.8K. Dirtiest throttle body I've ever seen, all cleaned now. Changed PS fluid, charges AC to 28 psi, now blowing at 44 degress on a 66 degree day. Ordered front brakes, will flush cooling system, and change plugs just for the hell of it. Air filter, oil and tranny fluid are good, maybe fuel filter some day as well.

 

Make sure to take either the truck or the vin to your local Ford dealer and check if it falls under the recalls for the drivers and passenger air bags. Dealer can run the vin and tell you if any recall work has been done or if pending.
Passenger air bag was recalled 2 years ago, so it's possible it was done already. Drivers side was recalled just recently.
