I have a 98 ranger with the three bulb set up, and i have a set of two bulb taillights that are going in the truck. what do i have to do to convert it to a two bulb set up? is there a kit or just wires i need to change?

you DO NOT need the trailer adaptor kit on the 98's.
i posted that in the howto but no one seen it.
if you look up under the bumper on your truck, kinad up by the bed, theres a plug with a gray cap over it.
figure out what wires are what and run a wire to each tail light.
its cheap and simple on the 98-99's.
