Welcome to the forum

What engine do you have, 3.0l or 4.0l?

Could be a few things
Crank position sensor is the only sensor that can cause a no start or no run, but they rarely fail and never intermittently, but connector on the crank sensor can be loose, have a look
NOT Cam sensor, Crank sensor

Fuel system
Fuel pump relay and fuel pump itself
Fuel pump relay is in the engine fuse box, computer uses it to turn on fuel pump power, you can swap this relay with another one in that box, like AC relay or wiper relay

When you turn on the key, the computer will run the fuel pump for 2 seconds, but only 2 seconds, you can hear it in the cab, a hummm
Try it now until you KNOW what it sounds like
At the next stall, no start, LISTEN to see if fuel pump is coming on, it comes on EACH time you turn the on, so cycle key off and on to see if its working

If the fuel pump relay was not working the computer would set a code for that, but computer has no code for broken fuel pump
Computer would also set a code for no Crank sensor pulse, usually
