So the solenoid burnt out while I was driving a little while ago and the truck completely died no lights or radio no beeping in auxiliary and it wouldn’t turn over at all. I conveniently broke down at the intersection of a local mechanic so I pushed it over to the shop and paid the man twice as much as the part ended up costing me for him to tell me it’s the alternator solenoid. I went and got the part, replaced it, but still nothing will come on no lights no ticks or beeps won’t turn over it nothing. I don’t have a clue what I’m doing here and I haven’t even touched it cause I don’t want to mess it up further. Any ideas on what it could be?
