I just bought this truck used recently. Very cheap.

The battery was going dead. A test showed marginal. I replaced the battery.
Had a parasitic short.
I broke out the test light and started pulling fuses.

Once I yanked the EEC 30a fuse in the power distribution box under the hood, the light went out.

I have basic understanding of electric but Im not sure how to proceed with troubleshooting to isolate the cause of the short.

maybe it might just be better to bring it to someone.
