1990 Ford Ranger 4x4 Manual Shift Boot???

I just bought this 1990 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9L v6 4x4 truck, reads 67000 miles but I'm pretty sure that it's actually 167000 miles. I'm the third technical owner of it.

Someone in the past tossed the original shift boot out and bought some getto solution that doesn't fit even close, so I've got a towel over it to cover the road noise & engine heat from getting in the cab. The issue in finding it is that they don't have the shift boot original with the transfer case and the manual transmission. It's all two seperate things, which is not how it is designed to be. It looks like the boot needs to be one solid piece with two independent boots, one for t-case and one for trans.

I want to find the original shift boot. Places I've looked:
  • The Ford Dealership, guy says it's discontinued.
  • junkyards I've looked in don't have it. I have a couple more junkyards to check on tomorrow
  • regular Autoparts stores don't have it
  • vintage auto parts stores local to me don't get it because it's not old enough

Is there somewhere I am missing? I could go to a leather maker and have something custom made?? I'm at a loss. Any guidance is appreciated!

Click on any picture and all the pictures for that vehicle will open up, some should show interior and the shifter boot
You will need to negotiate a price since you just want the boot
But come with tools to remove the **** they can be a bitch to get off, lol
