1993 Power Distribution Panel Woes.... Diode

I finally got everything sorted out with my alternator/ starting problems, So I thought. Today I was driving on the highway, and when I stopped the truck just shut down. I "wiggled" fuses and a DIODE in the power distribution box... When I wiggled the diode I heard relays clicking and the lights all came back on. I pulled the diode out. It looked pretty croded. I cleaned it up the best I could, then threw it back in and the truck started right back up.

Long story short.... What does this DIODE supply? It is located directly under the Fuel pump mini fuse. I would like to replace it.

Thanks

I'm looking at the 2000 wiring manual, but the only diode I see is the PCM Power Diode, routing power to the PCM Power Relay's coil. From that relay's contacts it supplies PCM power, fuel pump power, WOT A/C Cut Off relay, yada, yada, yada. Basically everything to make the engine run.

Again, I'm looking at a 2000 manual. Sounds like it may function the same tho'.

That makes alot of sense. The relay was pretty corroded. Now I just need to find a part number and replace it.

I cleaned up all the fuse positions and applied a good bit of dielectric grease to prevent further corrosion on the terminals.
