I guess I should have been more specific... Where have you seen them? I know the range they are in now, looking for a good price.

Don't mean to hijack the thread....
but did anyone notice that the red tops have longer warranties (and more cranking amps) than the yellow tops?

Every place I've checked online, oreilly, autozone, sears, even optima's site has about a 1 yr warranty on the yellows & about 3 yrs on the red tops.

Most online auto parts places I've checked are about $159 - $200 for the yellow tops and about $10 to $20 less for the red tops.

Wish there was a costco around here

looks like you guys felt the burn of the cost increase too. ours went from YT$159 to $199.00

http://www.batteriesplus.com/store_l...zip/90650.aspx ( store's in your area)

http://www.batteriesplus.com/showcat...ries&pagenum=2

Yellow tops in your area should be $169 print out the page showing that price and they'll honor it.

Batteries plus stores are nationwide and any of them will honor the warranty. ( proud of my store )
