1993 Ranger Fuel Lines

Trying to help out my neighbor. Really need the complete fuel line from the tank to the filter. It has a 90 degree bend at the tank and he's saying it is the supply or pressure line. The hard line coming out of the top of the tank is 3/8" but the nylon line itself is 5/16". Does anyone know of a good supplier for the complete line? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

Yes, the OUT line to filter will use 3/8s connector
The IN line from engine(FPR) will be 5/16" connector
So they can't be mixed up

All the nylon fuel lines on Rangers are 5/16", just FYI, just the connectors on the ends are different sizes

Regular cab or extended cab can matter on length of fuel tank lines

Have not run across direct replacements but they may be out there

Best bet is a wrecking yard, these nylon lines don't really degrade over time but can break if bent too much

Dorman sell connectors with nylon hose attached, you can use two and cut and splice them together, they sell the splices

Nylon gets flexible when heated, so you soak the ends in boiling water for a few minutes and inserter the splices, when it cools makes a very tight seal
Thats also how to bend nylon and have it retain the bend
Insert a larger diameter bendable metal rod inside the nylon hose, heat it up in hot/boiling water and bend it to the shape you want, metal rod will hold it in that shape and keep hose from kinking, let it cool, pull out the metal rod, shape will stay
