I have a 1996 ranger with an automatic tranny and the reverse lights just recently quit working. The bulbs and the fuse are good. So I'm assuming the switch on the transmission is bad. So my question is: is the switch part of the actual gear selector all as one unit with about 10 wires going to it? Also I read on another forum that the reverse switch may be out of adjustment but I don't see anything that looks "adjustable."
