Icon5 2001 compatibility to other years?

Hey I have a 2001 ranger xlt off-road 4x4. I am wondering what other years and models will the parts work for my truck? Like ball joints, brakes, frame parts, interior, exterior parts..? I am looking to buy a parts truck (not sure of the year yet, but before i buy it i want to make sure everything will work)

Thanx!

2001-2003 should be exactly the same then in 04 body panels changed but some interior and mechanical stuff still works up to 06 then they changed a lot so another 06 or newer is probably out and then i think 99 and 2000 have some similar parts to depends on what you ned out of it.

Front suspension is 01-11.

Interior is 01-06

Body panels are 01-03 (exact) 01-11 (hood and grill change in 04)

Bed and cab are 93-11

Awesome, thanks for the quick replies! The truck has some frame issues (rotted out) and also some other odds and ends, so i am going to use the parts truck to fix mine. Is there any threads on here about fixing rotted frames that i could get some advice on?

^^^^^ wondering the same thing, mine is getting bad in the back of the frame, I want to install a hitch but I don't know if the frame is strong enough, anybody do any bracing? It looks like there was already some welded in on mine.

You could box the frame or replace the rear section, it would have to be custom though

Power Train is pretty-much JUST '98 thru '01 ~ at least for a 4.0 for whatever I think I know... : ?

Actually ~ that's likely right...I built One-out-of-Two '99's a coupla' years ago, and the Powertrain Compatability across Years was that shallow...Mine were Push-Rod OHV Engines, and I know Fo.Mo.Co. had-gone to an Overhead Cammed 4.0 by '02... : ?
