Check Engine Help!

Ok, so i had a check engine light come on and took to check what code was. It came back p1443. Now its been on for a few days but i wanted to wait until i had time to check it out. I looked under the hood and noticed that a hose was just hanging and a spot that it looked like it could connect to. i know this is stupid but i don't want to connect unless im sure that's where it goes so ive taken a picture. anyhelp would be great! Could this be why my CE light is on? Thanks in advance

The P1443 code usually goes off when the Purge System detects a loss of pressure or a non-functional purge solenoid. The missing hose is the vapor return line, and you should be able to trace it towards the cab. Reconnect it and you should be good. Pull the battery cable for 10-15 mins afterwards and hopefully the light will go off.
