2006 3rd brake light

Hey guys... first post here
I've had my 2006 Ranger Sport for a few months now.
I was disappointed when I noticed that the 3rd brake light was nothing but a brake light and didn't have the side cargo lights. From reading here I think Ford did away with this several years ago - bummer.
Where can I find a replacement light that has the cargo lights included?
I've found a few LED replacement 3rd brake lights, but nothing for an 06, they are only for 03's and F150... Will a Sport Trac light work?
And do I need a different wiring harness to have the brake light/cargo light capability, or can I just wire the cargo light seperately to the dome light? Thanks for the help
jb

you can get one from ford with the cargo lights, just get one for an older ranger(they are all the same 93-07).
i think underdog has the led lights www.stuffforyourranger.com
as for the wiring im not sure, if you take the light off and see more then two wires it should be there.

WOW! that was fast.
Thanks 5speedin2.3 - I appreciat the info! I know it's hard to find OEM Ford parts online, if I went OEM should I just go to the dealer, or is there a place online that is cheaper?
Thanks again

best bet is to goto ford. just say you need one with the cargo lights.
i think they are only $30-$40
i remember calling about mine becuase it was leaking and i think they wanted $30.
but i just used silicone to seal it.

Is that what you meant by getting one from granite guy?

Ok, I'll prob. go that route, cheaper and for most things I actually like the stock look. I just have to figure out how to get power to the 2 cargo lights.

thanks guys

I'm sure it would...
We basically have the same exact truck from what I can tell of your picture. Only diff. appearance wise, I have the 5 spoke wheels, which I really dig. I need to take some pics.

Not to get off topic - but does anyone here know if the OEM raised bed rails wiIll fit my bed? I assume they will not much has change since 97???
I don't even think those are offered as an option anymore, but I like the look of them, better than just plain bed rail covers.
