I have added a dome/map light from a Mustang and ran a wire to attach to a hot wire. I saw another post that described how to do this and hook into a wire coming from the headlight switch. Problem is, the wires that were described in the instructions were for a 2004 Ranger and the wires on my 2008 are different color. Most of the wires from the headlight switch are white with a colored line on them. Does anyone know which wire I can tap into?

 

On the main light switch harness, the white wire with red stripe should be hot at all times. I would check it to be sure.
