4!1's in 3.0?

Hey been lookin at gears for the Mustang came arcoss some 4:1's. Was wondering if any has put them in a 3.0 ranger? is that motor too weak to handle that big of a gear?

It came stock in some 3.0L Rangers. I don't know that any of the trucks with a 7.5" axle have 4.10 gears, but I know the 8.8" axles have the option.

That makes no sense? 4.10 is actually a pretty low gear for a stock truck, why would a "weaker" motor not be able to handle a lower gear ratio?
