Hello,
I'm currently installing a 3in body lift on my 88 supercab and figured on replacing the body mounts while I'm at it since their in pretty poor shape (the drivers side rear one is literally just a bolt and a nut) so I got a bushing kit from ebay but I'm not sure if the new bushings are right. The front radiator and mid cab bushings seem to fit fine and I assume that the taller bushings from the pic are used in the rear but they are too thin and don't really fit into the mounting brackets well at all.
So my question is did I just get a crappy kit from ebay and shoulda gotten from a better retailor or did I mix up the bushing placement (as in the taller bushings go in the mid mounts instead of rear?) or is there something that I'm missing when installing these?
Just to note the rear cab body bushings have pretty much rotted to nothing so I can't really tell how their supposed to be.
