92 instrument cluster issues

So I have a 92 xlt 5 speed My cluster is fucked I’ve lost everything but the speedo everything else stays in the middle except the gas gauge which sometimes says I’m full sometimes says I’m on empty Just wondering if I can swap an instrument cluster from an automatic 91 explorer the explorers cluster looks basically the same to me except it has a tach which mine don’t

Reads like a 12v or ground issue to effect all the gauges, speedo doesn't use power, just cable drive

Yes, 1991 Explorer should fit and wiring should be plug and play, including the tach

But.........may have same issue if its a wiring issue to the cluster, so I would test for that first

I don't have a single diagram, there are 4 for the 12volt and grounds going to cluster

There are two connectors on the back C250 and C251
